Boland Cellar Sixty.40 Blends

Although our standard range of wine is offered in greater-than-niche-market volumes, we do not subscribe to the idea of “branded commodity wines” which is sometimes based on crude geography (the thoughtless blending of whatever is available and then claiming the end result to be superior). We prefer to think of our wines as regional expressions of wine with fundamental quality.

Subscribing to the broader definition of terroir, we include the human steward of the grapes as a crucial component (adding passion) of achieving a true expression of regionality. Working in a region with five different climatic zones, we view blending as one of the most important steps in making fine wine with a distinctive character.
